Scottsdale Arts Festival FAQ
Why did the 2020 Scottsdale Arts Festival get cancelled?
The decision has been made to cancel the 2020 festival out of an abundance of caution given rising concerns around COVID19. For more information, and a letter from Scottsdale Arts CEO, please visit:
Why does the festival charge an entrance fee?
The Scottsdale Arts Festival is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Scottsdale Arts and the proceeds benefit the programs and arts education initiatives of its four branches — the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Scottsdale Public Art, and Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation.
Where may I park?
There are parking garages on both sides of Drinkwater Boulevard. The parking structure at Wells Fargo Avenue and First Street is still the closest parking for Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, as well as events on the west side of the Civic Center Mall. There is an ADA compliant pedestrian bridge that connects the Scottsdale Civic Center Library to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
Our “Visit” page has the festival map and local trolley map for your reference: https://civiccenterlive.org/visit
Is the festival ADA accessible?
Yes, the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts is ADA accessible and the majority of the Scottsdale Civic Center Park is ADA accessible via sidewalks.
May I bring chairs and/or blankets to the festival?
You may bring blankets to watch performances or to enjoy the festival from an open spot of your choosing, but please do not bring chairs. The festival has picnic tables, benches, and tables with chairs available for use on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the park.
May I bring in outside food and beverage?
No. Outside food and beverage is not allowed with the exception of water and children’s snacks. The festival has five lemonade stands and three bars that sell a variety of beverages. Food is available at 15+ vendors around the park.
May I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not allowed with the exception of credentialed service-trained animals. Please refer to the list below for pet-sitting facilities in the area. The Scottsdale Arts Festival does not partner with, nor endorse, any of these facilities; they are provided for information only.
